A salutation to Jayce Alegre

Kudos to Jayce for an amazing post, not defining anybody or assigning a particular meaning to a group, but asking all of us to define ourselves through our own action, thoughts, and behavior - not color of the skin. You can't stereotype and prejudice against one group about them stereotyping and prejudicing! Then what would be the difference between you and them?

Again, Kudos to Jayce and everyone truly needs to check out his post!

kudos to the creators of this blog!

Congratulations Naiomi & Lily, this blog is a terrific extension of the work we've been doing together since August.  Looking forward to reading about everyone's successes!

WEL-COME ONE, WEL-COME ALL

First of all, "SENIORS OF 2015!" We got through the hardest part of the senior year: college applications! I know many of you are still applying to Privates with your Common App. but still, it's definitely a different feeling to have half of the burden taken off from all our backpacks of life that we carry with us. Kudos to each and every one of you for that! So, since we all have the burden of backpacks somehow increasing in our personal lives, Lilly and I decided to create this Kudos blog where for some moments, you will get a chance to put the backpack aside and celebrate your achievements, which are now viewed as a "to-do list" rather than an opportunity (at least for me that's true!!) We will (very, very) soon include authorship for all you guys so that you can start celebrating the achievements in life. It could be as small as volunteering, learning or experiencing something new to getting scholarships or college acceptance letter. Anything you do that changes or broadens your perspective, post it up! So, Warriors, let's start celebrating those moments because I believe that it is the celebration of the small steps and happiness received from the smallest of the achievements that make life worthy of living!!!

P.S. if you would like to post something before the authorship is given out, feel free to contact me or Lilly in class or via email and let us know: we will post it for you!
